The Central is an exclusive-use events venue in the heart of Marylebone, Westminster. Set within a listed building in one of London’s most celebrated conservation areas, it offers a rare combination of privacy, character and purpose.

The Central is situated at 42 Hallam Street, London W1W 6NW, at the point where Marylebone and Fitzrovia meet. The venue is easily reached on foot from several Underground and Overground stations, including Oxford Circus, Great Portland Street, Regent’s Park, Baker Street and Warren Street. Every event at The Central is unique. Working with you from the outset, Events Director Diane tailors each occasion to your specific needs and vision. Whether you are planning a corporate conference, a private dinner, a fundraising gala or a wedding, Diane brings the experience and attention to make it considered and memorable.
Your spaces serve as blank canvases. From the flexible Wolfson Hall to the light-filled Atrium, each area can be dressed and configured to suit the occasion. State-of-the-art AV equipment, customisable layouts and the Atrium’s retractable roof give you the means to shape the atmosphere entirely.
A dedicated Registration area provides a composed welcome point for your guests on arrival. We also connect you with a carefully selected network of professional suppliers, including caterers, florists, photographers, furniture hire providers, live bands, DJs, entertainers and production companies.

Diane acts as your consistent senior point of contact throughout the planning process. Working alongside you and your event planner, she coordinates every detail from first conversation to final wrap.
For corporate gatherings, she can help arrange layouts suited to presentations, breakout sessions and networking. For social occasions such as weddings or gala dinners, she will help bring the right atmosphere to life.
On the day, a duty manager will be present throughout. You are free to focus on your guests.
